The effect of the Anglo-American culture is visible in almost every country. The reality shows like America's Got Talent, the abundance of TV shows, which are well-known on all continents, and lastly the music, which accompanies us in every coffee shop and every store, are connected in some ways to American culture. It is easy for American singers and musicians to be accepted in other countries, but the process, unfortunately, flows in one direction. It is almost impossible for foreign acts to gain popularity in the United States.
The main questions I want to answer here are:

- Why do many foreign bands and artists sing in English?
- What music genre is the easiest to be welcomed by the American audience? Why?
- Why do some foreign singers do well in the United States without English lyrics?
In conducting this study, I followed these steps:
The most difficult part in conducting this study was identifying foreign bands and singers who opt to sing in English. Some of them were so authentic and natural with English lyrics and pronunciations, that if not for this research, I would never have known that they were foreigners. There were few acts I knew immediately were not American or British, but most of the time I had to literally check the origins of each one of them.
- Identification of foreign acts who were once popular in the United States and what made them so famous;
- Identification of foreign acts who are popular today and similarities in their songs;
- Analysis of English lyrics of foreign songs;
- The study of popular genre among foreign bands;
- The examination of foreign bands that get popularity without English lyrics;
