And in the End... It All Became Clear
International migration has occurred all through history. Each year millions of people leave their homes and cross national borders in search of better standards of living and greater security for themselves and their families, taking any jobs available. The process of shifting from one culture to another is very difficult, but for most immigrants it seems like there is nothing impossible. If one succeeded on switching from one country to another, adapting to a new culture shouldn't be a problem. However, many refugees get so implicated in American culture that they forget their own. Most leave their homes, families and friends behind, creating and finding new ones in America. Many get sick but still keep working and struggling every day. I would rather live healthy and poor in my motherland then sick and wealthy in a country that doesn't recognize me as their own. Most immigrants should take time to think about their past, and I mean the beauty of their country and the delicious food and happy music that was once playing. I am sure every country has beautiful sides to it; one just has to want to see it. I encourage everyone to become more involved in their culture, teach others, and spread the stories, the food, and the pictures. Many well-developed and wealthy countries focus so much on money and wealth that they forget about their traditions. We, the immigrants of this country, come from poor, unrecognized lands, but our people, traditions and dreams are big, so let’s not forget them, but share it with each other.
