Language Spoken through Audio
LET ME LIVE MY AMERICAN DREAM!
This video represents how much Romanians have Americanized themselves. The song is actually supposed to be Romanian but everything coming out of the singer's mouth are English words, because in reality, that is the way the language is spoken in Romania. Puya (the singer's name) is giving some great examples of how the mother language is slowly dying out while English is taking over. Puya says that nowadays in Romania, it is not cool anymore to say MISTO (cool in Romanian) but its swaggy to use the actual "COOL" word in English Then you can fit into society. This video shows how language domination slowly kills not only the mother language but also the healthy lifestyle that one holds. Language doesn't take over only the spoken words but also the way a person is living.
Lyrics of the song: Taken from: Versuri de la: http://www.versuri.ro/ Translated by: Adriana Andrian

Pai mai demult aici era Turcia, mai vere ( Well, guess what, it was in Turkey, not Romania )
Sunt contestat ca-ncerc sa fiu original ( Everyone is trying to be original )
Ca pun ceva de la noi in rapu' asta din Salajan ( Is our rap even playing on radios anymore?)
Tovaras? No. Acum se zice bro (Tovaras ? No, now you say BRO!)
Avem iepurasi Playboy care dau din popou ( Playboy is now seen everywhere )
O ardem VIP, dar totul este gri ( Even if we lack money, we have to be VIP)
Cand ne mai fac o vizita fratii din FMI ( When our relatives from other countries send us money )
Un fel de MAI si cat mai suntem vii ( So until we are alive)
Noi mergem sa muncim sa scoatem toti banii ( We go to work hard and make some money)
Daca cineva descopera ceva( And when someone discovers something )
Cercetatorii vin, clar, din America ( The scientists are obviously from America)
Die my mother if i lie you...
Nici n-o sa intelegi ce zic daca nu stii limba engleza ( You won't even understand what i said, if you don't know English )

EDUCATION IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY!
This is a 35:00 minute video from a Romanian Pentecostal Pastor, Luigi Mitoi, who talks about education. Since he moved to America a few years ago, he focuses mostly on cultural differences. Luigi talks about the culture that he was educated in, when he lived in Romania, and the culture that his children are getting educated in America. A very good point he states is: "In Romania, it is funny and impossible to hear that a child will call the police because his father was trying to teach him a lesson. In America however, it is easy for a child to call police anytime he doesn't like how his parents behave. So what kind of education is that ? In Romania, your priority are your father and mother. In America, your priority is police." Changing countries will change one's culture and way of thinking. Many immigrants that are 1st generation struggle with disciplining their children, because different environments teach different ideas and lifestyles.

HOW BAD DO YOU WANT TO LIVE THE DREAM ?
This cute video, is very inspirational and it represents how people sometimes strive for freedom with all their strength, but in the end, all the effort only leads to failure. Same thing happens with Immigrants and very often, many come to a different country than their motherland to gain money and wealth but after years and years of labor they realize that their health is gone and that you cannot buy health with money. I hope whoever reads this will understand that nothing is worth ruining your relationship with family and selling your soul for money. We are slaves of this world's wealth but we have to realize it and stop until it's not too late.

PROUD OF MY LANGUAGE !
This simple video is a gathering of shots from around the world and people of different cultures that are exposing their opinion on what is multilingualism and how it impacts them. Many words and quotes are very powerful and it clearly shows how people love their countries and languages. Through this visualization we can understand that people coming together and having the same positive opinion towards language can create a powerful point and show everyone just how important it is to care and love your culture and motherland.

MULTILINGUALISM IS COMING!
Steve Kaufmann explains how speaking more than one language is a good trait, only he notices that in our days, English seems to be taking over the world. It seems that if you can speak English, it means you can communicate with everyone around you. He clearly explains that now is the moment to awaken from our euphoric dreams and understand that language discrimination is a very known and raised issue in the society. Many people who are not tolerant towards multilingualism have to realize that not only it is a great ability to speak more than one language but it also helps many people to communicate better and create a better working environment and communication around them

FIRST STEPS TO AMERICANIZATION: TELEVISION !
Speaking about the world Americanizing, this was the first American TV Show that I watched in Romania. Yes, at around 12 years old, in a small country like Romania, I was watching this TV Show in English. I guess that is where my first steps of Americanization began. Of course i cannot say that this is not a great show, I have watched it five or six times, but it is scary to see on my own experiences how children and adults from different countries watch American TV-Shows, listen to American music and try to fit and live in an American culture that does not even exist for them.
